We occasionally have super donkeys for sale which will make super pets, breeding, showing, companions.
Any inspection welcome. We have spent years building our good reputation and also a reputation for quality, sound, happy, healthy donkeys that have been sold all over! References can be provided by our previous happy customers. After care and advice always available.
Visitors always welcome. Please call to arrange a viewing.
We will under no circumstances allow our donkeys to be exploited. Please make any viewing/appointments in advance. Donkeys of Wales will endeavour to accommodate all clients' wishes but our donkeys interests are always our priority.
Please note all our donkeys are handled daily by ourselves and children so they love human attention - they are not donkeys to just graze. The Donkey Sanctuary run training courses nationwide - visit their website.
All our donkeys for sale must go to homes with field shelters or stabling. Also, loving caring homes are a must.
Delivery can be arranged - distance no object (see Animal Transporter Authorisation by clicking here - opens in new browser window).
If required, all donkeys can be seen by our vet for a veting before purchase but this would incur an additional cost.
We can also rehome your donkey or donkeys, or can help assist you in doing so.

Coloured Jenny Foal

Quality coloured jenny foal, very friendly, loves a fuss and to be groomed. She has a thick furry coat and big expressive eyes - she's the cutest thing you ever have seen and is full of herself and probably should be.
She loves all people young and old. A great asset to anyone wanting to breed quality coloured foals as both mum and dad are coloured - very pleasing on the eye in and out of the field. She has been shown this year and did exceptionally well.

Fizz the Filly

Many thanks for the beautiful little filly that you sold us in September, she's integrated into the family really well. She's healthy, with a fantastic temperament, beautiful, such a wonderful pony and a credit to you.
She isn't fazed by anything, quite fearless, as proved by our walks around the village, crossing a main road seeing cement mixers, waggon's, even children playing football. We are very happy with our little girl, once again, many thanks.

| Sunnyside Donkeys

Earlier this year we bought 18 donkeys off Zoie.
They were very quiet donkeys, obviously well taken care of and we noticed when viewing the donkeys with Zoie she had a lovely way with them.
Several of the donkeys were suitable for use as 'riding donkeys'.
Zoie also provided us with help and advice re looking after the donkeys. She was very upfront about the nature of the individual donkeys and was very reliable re passports.
We have found on our travels buying donkeys there are several 'unscrupulous' donkey dealers - who do not keep their donkeys in good conditions, the donkeys hooves are not looked after properly and are hard to pin down re passports.
If I wanted to buy more donkeys, I would definitely find out what Zoie had before buying elsewhere.
In addition when delivering the donkeys Zoie was very reliable.

We bought 2 donkeys from donkeys of wales in august 09 having never owned any kind of equine animal before. We had found other donkeys closer to home but decided to go with Zoie from donkeys of wales because of her enthusiasm and obvious love of her donkeys. They also offered to deliver the donkeys to our home at very reasonable cost considering the distance, and ordered for us some much needed head collars and lead ropes. Since owning the donkeys Zoie has always answered any questions we have had and has always been on hand via e.mail and phone to help us out.
I would defiantly recommend donkeys of wales to any one who wants to buy a donkey. Our donkeys, Bert and Ernie have been every thing Zoie said they were and more. They make me laugh when they play and they love having a fuss.
